7 Focused Program Tracks

Equal Employment Opportunity

Geared toward federal EEO specialists, managers, directors, investigators and counselors, workshops and sessions deliver best practices for addressing DEIA, reasonable accommodations, anti-harassment programs, and other EEO issues in a compliant manner.

Human Resources

HR and personnel practitioners will gain the highest quality training on the tough HR challenges in today's federal workplace, including how to effectively handle telework and leave, FMLA, performance plans, hiring, and the latest changes in federal HR laws, regulations and administration priorities.

Labor Relations & Employee Relations

With workshops and sessions addressing discipline, adverse actions, Douglas factors, collective bargaining, and other ER and LR topics, this track provides federal ER/LR practitioners with comprehensive professional development to evaluate labor laws and advise management on contracts, worker grievances, and disciplinary procedures.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

Practitioners and mediators gain guidance on mediation, conflict resolution, and other ADR tools that can be used to guide parties to agreement. Sessions and workshops also focus on improving communication skills to advance problem-solving and dispute resolution.

Attorney/Legal

Attorneys can earn continuing legal credits, or CLEs, by attending Legal Ethics Training to satisfy states' legal ethics requirements. Plus, Mock Hearings and Case Law Update sessions will provide the latest guidance on the federal employment legal landscape.
